Game Artist (English)

Do you want to bring digital worlds to life? In our course Game Artist you’ll create environments, characters, and visual experiences for games.

Over the course of one year, you’ll explore how game art is created—from concept and sketch to finished models and environments inside a game engine. You’ll learn the craft behind 2D and 3D art for games, while developing your creativity, visual language, and personal artistic style.

About the Course

This course provides a broad foundation in all aspects of game art. You will work with digital sculpting, 3D modeling, texturing, animation, VFX, shaders, and visual design.

Teaching is practical and project-based, and you will frequently collaborate with students from the other courses at Dragon Game Education —just like in a real game studio.

Every part of the curriculum includes elements such as:

  • Implementing art in a game engine (Unreal Engine and Unity)
  • Professional presentation of your work
  • Collaboration within production teams
  • Understanding how art and gameplay interact

Throughout the year, you will work on both individual projects and team-based productions that result in complete game experiences. You will receive guidance from experienced teachers and industry professionals.
