Equality and diversity are important to achieve social sustainability. These issues are necessary for our attractiveness, for us to be competitive and successful.

Schyst.se is devoped by Region Värmland in cooperation with Compare, IUC Stål & Verkstad, and Paper Province within the project Attraktionskraft Värmland. Thanks to the high demand from the business sector and other regions within the EU, the Debuting project has made Schyst.se available also in English. Now even more people can discover the benefits of equality and inclusion.

In the Värmland Strategy 2040, equality and diversity are brought out as important factors for the future of Värmland. The Schyst method is a part of making the connections between sustainable growth, equality, and diversity comprehensible. The goal is a more open Värmland, where everyone feels included.

About Region Värmland

Region Värmland is a politically governed organisation and works on behalf of the population. Regions have a broad assignment that covers many large issues that affect the everyday life and future of the population. Typical for these issues is that they are common for the whole county and often require great financial resources.

Region Värmland is responsible for development efforts in areas like health care, dental care, public transport, infrastructure, business, labour market, equality, supply of skills, and culture. We are also responsible for five of the six folk high schools in the county.
